~Nois Ensemble • June 2, 2019
Our season concludes as our collaboration with ~Nois Saxophone Quartet culminates in a concert on Sunday, June 2 at Constellation Chicago. ~Nois is a Chicago-based saxophone quartet that defies categorization by working between the boundary of contemporary classical music and experimental improvisation.
This concert will feature the winning entry of our 2018 call for scores, as well the result of our composition project with ~Nois. Composers include Axelrod, Ginther, Horst and Johnson.
