Join C3 in welcoming multifaceted saxophonist and improviser Drew Whiting to Chicago in a program of electroacoustic music for saxophone and other instruments. A champion of new and experimental music, Drew has been described (by Diakcritical.com) as a virtuoso whose performances are “exquisite and emotive… managing everything with aplomb.” The varied program includes three World Premieres and a performance of the winning piece of the C3 2023 Composers Competition by David Clay Mettens.
